Opening Day

Take me out to the ballgame, because baseball season is in full swing! In this video, Ron Beshear takes on Opening Day and the benefits of a fresh start. Go Reds!

Hi, this is Ron Beshear, and today Ron takes on opening day. Had a couple of thoughts.

My wife and I had the opportunity to go down to opening day, obviously amazing amount of excitement starting early in the morning for some people at eight o’clock–the parade. I actually watched that on television. And then the game, we were there for the game.

Hope springs eternal as the new baseball season began. And what I was thinking about was how neat it is to have a fresh start, whether it’s for the baseball season or in your career or in your life, in general. Someone taught me the quote many years ago, though no one can go back and start over. Anybody can start now and make a brand new finish. Let me say that again, because a lot of people are stuck in the past and they can’t forgive themselves or move on. So I love the, I love this quote though–“No one can go back and start over. Anyone can start now and make a brand new finish.”
