Science Offers Evidence…
Thoughts have tremendous power, and thoughts are triggered by words. Author and speaker, Les Brown, tells the story of a teacher who asked him to write something on the board. Brown, an 11th grader at the time, refused and said, “I can’t, Sir; I’m educable mentally retarded.”
The teacher’s response changed Brown’s life when he challenged him to be careful about the power that words and labels could have on him. His instructor said, “If you can get a glimpse of yourself, of who you really are, and what it is you bring to the planet in a historical sense, the world will never be the same.”

- refrain from saying the unkind or negative thing, especially when tired or frustrated.
